Cancelation & No Show Policy
Therapy works best when it's consistent. Showing up regularly, even when life feels busy or you'd rather not, is part of what makes the process work. That said, I also know that you are a human being with a real life, and sometimes that life has other plans. Unexpected surgeries happen. Calls run long. Kids get sick. You fall asleep on the couch because your body finally gave out. I get it.
Sessions are charged in advance to streamline the administrative side of things, so that when we meet, we can focus entirely on you.
In order to protect your time, my time, and the integrity of our work together, I ask for more than 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full fee.
If something urgent comes up and you reach out to cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, I will offer you every remaining available appointment slot I have that week. If we find a time that works, you will only be charged for the originally scheduled visit. I want to make it as easy as possible to stay consistent with your care, even when the week goes sideways.
Late cancellation and no show fees are not about punishment. They are about honoring the commitment you've made to yourself and ensuring that our work together stays a priority, even on the hard weeks. Especially on the hard weeks.
